Design standardization

The interactive and graphics visual style guides ensures our visual content aligns with our brand identity, engages our audience, and enhances the user experience. It's more than just a guide on our visual style too, it's also a point of reference for best practices and dos and don't when choosing a visualization type.

Typography styles

Aligning creative teams with typography standards that convey a consistent brand tone and style is an essential component to any organization. The goal here is to allow our readers to easily connect our visualizations with our brand identity – to know right away that they're consuming a piece of our content.

AP is an organization of many stories, told through a variety of lenses across all walks of life. The AP color palette must be flexible enough to capture the mood and tone of each and every one of these stories.

AP News Article Page Resigns

All of the rebrand and redesign work throughout 2022 and 2023 was building up to the relaunch of the new AP News website. I played a key role in shaping what our story articles could look like. I explored design concepts that would increase audience engagement and drive traffic to other parts of our site and sync to other AP products such as our newsletters.
